Life as a Trainee Teacher...

The first week of practicum is over in a blink of an eye!
This week passed quite slow movingly but things are going to move faster soon!
Life at HG is great! Colleagues and the school are nice people. Feel so fortunate that the management team is great over here.
Week 1 lesson observations.
Realised I need to develop my own strategy to handle different classes.
Week 2 would be their common test week. I would be down for examination invigilation during the exam days. Lessons resume as per normal on thursday and friday! Would be teaching starting this wed for the make-up F&N class.
Week 3 the Sec 1 students would be down for a 3 day camp at the Zoo!
I would be following my CTs to the Zoo as well! Sounds rather fun!
Hope to build greater rapport with my students down at the Zoo!
Singapore ZOO, here I come!!!!!!!

Bollywood Veggies

Our last day in NIE was a learning journey trip to Bollywood Veggies farm.
A rather warm friday but everyone was filled with fear and excitement as this was the last day that we are going to meet up before going for our practicum.
Went there with much excitement as I thought it was a vegetable farm with lots of different types of vegetables. But it turned out a little different but it was great too!

The wild mushroom growing on the log resembles ling zhi isn't it? Thought it was rather cute. 

Banana flower pointing upwards indicates that it is unsafe for consumption.
Flower pointing downwards indicates that it can be consumed!
Interesting isn't it??

Photoshoots & Assignments

We're doing on 5 different shops on the same product!!!!!
Totally worn out when we were done with all 5 products and photoshoot!
Can you imagine the looks and stares that all the passer-by gave as they were walking pass us??
It's just so embarrassing BUT it was fun doing the photoshoot as all of us felt like we were models. =))

My group consisting of myself, Li Whey, Si Ni, Xi Ling and Fion brainstormed with many ideas but decided to work on one at the end!
