The Art of Cutting

The different cuts of vegetables.......

Onions, carrots, garlic and cai xin (if i'm not wrong)

 Sliced onions
 Diced carrots
 Julienne carrots
 Minced garlic
 Chiffonade cai xin
Shredded carrots

These are the different cuts of vegetables that we have done during the very first practical lesson of our module The Teaching of F&N.
The different cuts not only give variety of shapes, it also determines the cooking time of your dish and the cooking method.
